To join ADTC, you must fill out an application and also complete a 7-week session of training at the level of training your dog is currently at. You will need to pass a short proficiency test before starting any session, which consists of heeling with all AKC elements, sit for exam, sit/down stay and not be aggressive toward people and dogs. The cost of this training session is $160.
